I love 1000 faces coffee! Especially since I live very close and will usually buy one of their coffees monthly; however, this specific coffee, while still good, doesn’t hold up to the others in their line. Their Biranu Dulo is one of my favorites, so I think this coffee is deserving of a 3/5 given it’s very standard and middle of the pack.

Brewed as espresso and americano. Overall thought this coffee was just ok. There was some earthy almost mushroom like finish notes to it that I don’t enjoy much in a coffee. I did enjoy the richness and got a chocolate dipped apple note on the front which I enjoyed.

It smelled amazing upon opening the bag and it was smooth and delcious.

Fresh, roasted perfectly. On the mild side. Seems like a light roast but doesn’t have the dry taste like most light roasts.

I thought it was OK. It was good with lattes or cortados, but stand alone as espresso or americano (which I drink more often) more to be desired.

Outstanding for pourover, esp Tetsu’s Hybrid method with a Hario Switch. One of the smoothest coffees I’ve ever had. Wish it came as a 12 oz bag though.

The roaster's description is perfect. The blend would appeal to many-perhaps a 4.5 since we tend to like a deeper roast.
